Gucci's new creative director Alessandro Michele, has revived the brand's image which previously garnered its typical conservative tradition as a luxury brand. Michele's deep interest in Italian art and his love of nature comes through in his work. He blends the mythical with playful child-like designs enveloping more subtle meanings. The flow of floral fabrics, subtle dark tones mixed with a vibrant array of color, Gucci's FW 17 collection is a myth in itself. Here the designer's vision came to life with a futuristic tunnel featuring as the catwalk for models. The collection showcased over a looks for men and women. With triangular sillohettes, an array of floral motifs contrasted with traditional designs and textures.
